We are seeking expressions of interest for a field‐based Service Technician role located in the Goldfields region - Kalgoorlie.This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a regional environment while supporting a diverse customer base and a wide range of equipment.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus of this role is to provide breakdown support, servicing, and planned maintenance across a broad range of equipment, including diesel and LPG forklifts with lift capacities from 1.8 to 16 tonnes, as well as exposure to battery electric forklifts.You will be a pragmatic problem solver with a strong results focus, excellent attention to detail, and a high level of customer service.Key responsibilities include:Performing onsite repairs across a wide range of material handling equipmentResponding to breakdowns within Kalgoorlie, Esperance, and surrounding areasUndertaking diagnostic and fault‐finding workBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the territoryCollaborating with internal technical support teams to deliver effective maintenance outcomesThis role requires a high level of autonomy.
You will need to be confident in your technical ability, decision‐making, and Crown product knowledge to be successful in this regional workplace.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 2 years' experience as a forklift technicianProven ability to work autonomously, particularly in remote or regional locationsStrong technical knowledge and diagnostic capabilityExperience with large‐tonnage diesel equipment is highly desirableExcellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to high‐quality preventative maintenanceStrong alignment with HCA's Safety Culture,
