Biodiversity Australia Pty Ltd – Beenleigh QLDBiodiversity Australia is an Environmental Management Consultancy which brings an exciting opportunity in Conservation Land Management within southeast QueenslandWe currently have an chance for aVegetation Field Team Leaderspecialising in Land Conservation/Bush Regeneration within the evolving industry of Land Restoration from our SEQ Base.With numerous projects in Gold Coast and the surrounding regions, you will lead your team and deliver various aspects of land conservation and management including, weed monitoring and control, planting, native seed collection, ecological monitoring, pest management and equipment maintenance.To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the following:Conservation Land Management Certificate III or higher (minimum)



or tertiary degree or proven industry experienceExperience in bush restoration techniques and identification of invasive and native plant species bothChemical application accreditation / ACDC LicenceExperience with equipment operations such as pumps, chainsaws, brush-cutters etc.Experience with Fauna work i.e. Fauna Spotting and Surveys(desirable, but not essential)Experience using data collection platformsExperience in leading teams and supporting positive and supportive team cultureDemonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisionsDemonstrated ability to follow and implement SWMSAll applicants require the following:General Construction Induction Card (White Card)Car LicenceAbility to pass a National Police CheckAbility to pass Drug and Alcohol ChecksThe capacity and willingness to occasionally work away when requiredIndigenous applicants are encouraged to apply.
