Esca Grill is looking for a pastry chef for our fast-paced, farm to table restaurant in the inner northwest suburb of Moonee Ponds.
This is a successful family-run European influenced Modern Australian restaurant with an ethos for sustainability and fine food.
In this role, you will produce quality desserts so that guests are blown away.About youProven experience as a pastry chef or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and decorationCreativity and attention to detail in dessert design and presentationAbility to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsOutstanding team leadership skillsExperience within a fast-paced, upmarket, or fine-dining kitchenKey responsibilitiesProvide functional assistance in the production team demonstrating superior standards of preparation, production and finishingImplement superior standards of preparation and production demonstrating and utilizing your pastry skills,
