This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident in the kitchen, organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy café kitchen.
You'll work closely with management and be an important part of delivering great food and experiences for locals, visitors, tour groups and events.

Previous kitchen and cooking experience – essentialConfidence working independently in a commercial kitchenExperience with food preparation and serviceGood organisation and time-management skillsExperience or confidence with stock ordering and stock controlAbility to organise staff and kitchen rostersStrong understanding of kitchen cleanliness and food safetyAbility to work calmly during busy service periodsA positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a broader team
