Your proven case management experience, together with your ability to effectively manage high-conflict and complex situations, will be critical to success.Based primarily in our Caringbah office, this position provides support to clients across a range of locations, including Ryde, North Sydney, Nepean, Blue Mountains, St George, and Sutherland.
Attendance at Safety Action Meetings within the St George and Sutherland regions is also required.Permanent Part‐time position, working 54 hours per fortnight.The hourly rate is in line with a SCHADS Award Level 5, with a rate of $***** per hour, plus superannuation.KEY DUTIESProvide case coordination in accordance with the relevant guidelines, procedures and processesLiaise with the Police for additional contact information or to discuss changes of risk ratingPrepare case file notes and quarterly reports for all victims supported according to the template that will be provided by Victims Services and record these in the specific databaseRepresent male victim(s) at "Reliable Threat" at Safety Action Meetings (SAMs) as required,



and follow up with the male victim and discuss any safety action plan developedUndertake intake assessment with clients to:assess suitability for servicesassess the person's / family's needsassess risks (including suicide risk) and develop action plans to mitigate risksassist clients to develop their own goals and case/service planmake appropriate internal and external referralsMonitor progress and the changing needs of the client while they are waiting for and receiving Interrelate servicesProvide case management and/or brief interventions to a caseload of clientsROLE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in social work, community welfare, counselling, psychology related discipline, or a Graduate Diploma in counselling, community service or equivalent in addition to holding a bachelor's degree that is not a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in case management, case coordination and conflict managementExperience providing advocacy, support, and referral services to victim-survivors of Domestic and Family ViolenceExperience working with victim survivors of Domestic Family Violence, including assessment, safety planning, case management, and referral pathwaysDemonstrated knowledge and experience in applying child-focused practice when working with families, including an understanding of child development and the effects of family and domestic violence on children's safety,



wellbeing and developmentAbility to liaise with the community and build local networks including family law specialist and magistrates along with experience in dealing with the Family Law SystemThe ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure positive outcomesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholdersClosing Date: Friday, 28 August ****ABOUT USInterrelate is a not‐for‐profit organisation dedicated to supporting healthy human connection.
