Serving up to 120 children, our service is known for its vibrant, welcoming community and commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
We provide Before School Care (BSC), After School Care (ASC) and Vacation Care (VAC) programs designed to support children and families throughout the school year.At St Mary's OSHC, we believe every child is unique.
We take the time to build genuine relationships with children and families, creating learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage exploration and support children to develop confidence and independence.
Our programs are child-led and reflect the interests, cultures and voices of the children in our care.About the RoleAs Assistant Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the service and ensure the delivery of engaging, inclusive and high-quality programs for children and families.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Coordinator with the daily operations of the serviceAssist with program planning, implementation and documentationSupport staff rostering and supervisionComplete administrative and financial tasks, including fee collectionDeliver engaging and inclusive educational experiencesBuild positive relationships with children, families and team membersMaintain a safe,



secure and nurturing environment for childrenContribute to a positive team culture and strong service outcomesParticipate in ongoing professional developmentAct as the Responsible Person when required in the Coordinator's absenceJob RequirementsDiploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA equivalent)Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/AnaphylaxisCurrent completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/RegulationsExperience in the education and care of children (OSHC).
