This position provides hands‐on assistance to branches experiencing management vacancies, service growth, operational pressures, or quality improvement requirements.Working directly alongside branch teams, the postholder will help maintain high standards of care delivery, compliance, operational performance, and client satisfaction.
The role is designed to provide flexible operational leadership and practical support where it is needed most, helping services remain reliable, effective, and compliant.The Regional Service Support Lead does not hold CQC registration but may be required to provide temporary operational leadership within services and support Registered Managers, Area Managers, and the Director of Care in achieving organisational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct operational support to services experiencing management vacancies, staffing challenges, or operational pressures.Work alongside branch teams to ensure effective day‐to‐day service delivery.Support branches in achieving operational and performance objectives.Assist with service mobilisation, growth initiatives,



and the implementation of new care packages.Attend branch meetings and contribute to operational planning, problem‐solving, and decision‐making.Support continuity of care and service stability during periods of change.Complete client assessments, reviews, and reassessments as required.Support the development and review of person‐centred care plans and risk assessments.Conduct service user visits, quality monitoring visits, and welfare reviews.Assist in investigating and resolving client concerns, complaints, and service issues.Promote positive outcomes and high‐quality care experiences for all clients.Support branches in addressing actions arising from audits, inspections, complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns.Assist services in preparing for internal audits and external regulatory inspections.Monitor progress against quality improvement plans and support achievement of compliance standards.Promote best practice and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Support the maintenance of safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well‐led services.Assist with recruitment activities, including interviews, selection processes, and onboarding.Support the induction, development,



and mentoring of new managers and coordinators.Conduct supervisions, spot checks, observations, and competency assessments where required.Support managers in embedding company standards, systems, and operational processes.Contribute to the development of a positive and high‐performing workforce culture.Provide focused support to services requiring operational or quality improvement.Assist with the implementation of action plans and performance improvement initiatives.Share best practice across services and encourage continuous learning.Support organisational projects, change programmes, and operational developments.Contribute to the achievement of strategic business objectives.Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and external partners.Represent Lotus Home Care professionally at meetings, reviews, and partnership forums.Promote a culture of quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.Proud member of the Disability Confident employer schemeAbout Disability Confident Disability Confident is a government scheme.
