As an integral member of our nursing team, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and fellow nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and client service.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAssisting veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeriesPreparing patients for surgery and assisting in theatreMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recoveryPerforming blood collection, catheter placement, TPR monitoring, and triageAdministering medications and treatmentsRunning diagnostic tests and pathology proceduresProviding nursing care to hospitalised patientsEducating clients on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and treatment plansMaintaining accurate patient recordsSupporting the day-to-day operation of the clinicMaintaining cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the hospitalNo two days are the same, making this a rewarding opportunity to utilise your nursing skills across a variety of medical and surgical cases.About YouWe're looking for someone who:Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalentHas previous clinical veterinary nursing experienceHas a strong understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresIs confident with catheter placement, blood collection, TPR monitoring, and triageHas competent anaesthetic monitoring skillsDemonstrates excellent communication and customer service abilitiesWorks well both independently and as part of a collaborative teamBrings a positive attitude and strong work ethicHas experience with RxWorks (highly desirable)Most importantly,
