The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate
Assistant Manager
to help lead our dynamic team and drive the continued success of Etsu Izakaya.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards
Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house and management teams
Assist in driving financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve guest concerns professionally
Manage staff, rosters, and recruitment
Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Venue Manager and directors to enhance the venue offering
About You
Minimum 3+ years experience
Strong leadership and team development skills
Proven ability to manage high-volume service
Current RSA (QLD)
Passion for hospitality and Japanese cuisine culture
Energetic, organised, and solutions-focused
