How You'll Make a Difference
Working closely with the Logistics Team you will be tasked with various functions:
Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery dockets and quality requirements before stock is accepted into inventory
Ensure stock is stored, labelled and handled to prevent damage, contamination, loss or incorrect use
Pick all job components accurately and have them available for production by the required timeframes
Maintain stock locations to support efficient picking and stock control
Coordinate logistics requirements with suppliers, freight providers, internal departments and customers to support timely movement of goods
Communicate stock shortages, picking delays,
receiving issues and freight impacts to the relevant manager or stakeholder as soon as practicable
Make day-to-day prioritisation decisions for receiving, shelving, picking and dispatch activities in line with production and customer requirements
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have:
Certificate III in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing) or equivalent experience (highly regarded)
Forklift Licence
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehousing/logistics role
Intermediate PC skills
Robust attention to detail
A willingness to cross-train in other areas to support staff leave
