We currently have a permanent full-time andtemporary full-time (up to 12 months) opportunityavailable in our team.The Role:We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parking Officer to conduct foot patrols and enforce parking and traffic regulations in our local government area.
You will:Patrol streets and designated car parks to ensure compliance with parking and traffic legislationInvestigate abandoned vehicles, littering, vehicle "for sale" complaints, boat trailer issues and other related offencesIssue penalty notices or warnings as appropriate and maintain accurate recordsCollaborate with local police, community groups and other stakeholdersRepresent Council in court and prepare reports as requiredAbout You:To succeed in this role, you will have:A NSW Driver's LicenseStrong customer service skills and experienceExcellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skillsThe ability to follow procedures, apply legislation, and work independently(Desirable)
Completion of a parking enforcement course or experience in issuing penalty notices(Desirable) Knowledge of the Local Government AreaJoin our Team and Grow with Us!

(Plus weekend penalty rates as worked).
Hours of work: Permanent Full Time and a Temporary Full Time (up to 12 months) chance.
