The Prospect
An exciting Product Specialist opportunity has become available within our Joint Reconstruction Team in WA.
Based in Perth, you will focus on selling and supporting our Hip & Knee joint replacement solutions including VELYSTM, our innovative robotic and digital technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Developing effective relationships and consulting with Orthopaedic Surgeons, promoting and driving the sale of our products, and achieving revenue targets across the portfolioIdentifying customer needs to deliver tailored solutions, generating leads and capitalising on market opportunities, and presenting product information to optimally support customersProviding clinical support during surgical cases, delivering education and in-service training to Surgeons, Registrars, and Theatre staff,
and supporting new product launchesMaintaining market and competitor analysis, providing regular feedback, and collaborating effectively within a team environment to deliver premier service and support to both customers and patients
About You
We are looking for natural leaders, with the hunger to develop and nurture long term relationships.
You should be enthusiastic, driven and motivated in making a difference for the customers and patients we help.
Degree qualification in Health, Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent with minimum 2 years' medical sales and territory management experience, preferably within OrthopaedicsCommercially astute professional with a track record of cultivating enduring strategic partnerships and expertise at leveraging deep local market insights to drive impactful business outcomesExcellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders, convey complex technical information, negotiate and influence decision makersHighly organised with a strong team orientation, ability to think strategically and constructively challenges customers

This position requires frequent travel to hospitals within Perth Metro and occasional travel to regional WA.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
