That's why we take the time to listen, understand, and tailor our services to ensure each person can achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilled life at home and within their community.About the role:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team in Mirrabooka.Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, this hands-on role will have a strong focus on NDIS claims and invoicing, accounts payable, Budgetly administration and payroll, along with general finance and reconciliation duties.You will work across systems including Xero, ShiftCare, PayCat and Budgetly to ensure financial and payroll transactions are accurate, timely and compliant.Key Responsibilities:Process NDIS claims, participant invoicing and follow up billing discrepanciesManage accounts payable, supplier invoices and paymentsMonitor and reconcile transactions through Budgetly, including participant expenditureSupport accurate and timely fortnightly payroll processingReview timesheets, leave, allowances, overtime, reimbursements and payroll adjustmentsComplete bank, payroll, petty cash and participant account reconciliationsAssist with budgeting,
expenditure monitoring and variance analysisMaintain accurate and audit-ready financial recordsRespond to payroll and finance enquiries from employees, managers and stakeholdersSupport general finance administration and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouYou are organised, numerically strong and highly attentive to detail.
You are confident managing payroll deadlines, financial transactions and confidential information while balancing competing priorities.Experience using Xero, PayCat, ShiftCare and or BudgetlyRelevant qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or a related disciplineMinimum 2 years' experience in payroll, accounts or a similar finance roleDemonstrated experience processing end-to-end payrollExperience with accounts payable, invoicing and reconciliationsSound understanding of payroll, superannuation, leave and modern award requirementsExcellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skillsCurrent First Aid & CPRNDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)NDIS Worker's Orientation Module CertificateValid WA Driver's LicenceEvidence of required vaccinations including flu vaccine ****Ability to provide two qualified referencesHighly RegardedExperience with NDIS claims and participant invoicingExperience within NDIS, disability, aged care, health or community servicesKnowledge of SCHADS and Nurses AwardExperience with budgeting and financial reportingWhat's on offer?
