Room Leader | Now Open| Full-time or Part-time | IpswichWe are looking for a Diploma qualified Room Leader to join our opening team at Little School Early Learning Centre in Brassall, Ipswich.This role can be full-time or part-time.

We are creating a centre that feels warm, welcoming and genuinely child-focused, with a strong emphasis on play-based learning, relationships and natural environments.Our outdoor spaces will include a large natural playground, loose parts play yard, chickens and guinea pigs, and a small produce garden where children can help grow things like lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers.
We are looking for a Room Leader who enjoys helping children learn through play, exploration and everyday experiences.We are a family-owned and operated service, not a large corporate group.

natural environments and genuine careAbout the roleAs our Room Leader, you will:Lead the day-to-day running of your room in a calm, positive and organised wayCreate a warm, safe and engaging environment for childrenSupport and guide educators in your roomHelp deliver a play-based program guided by the Early Years Learning FrameworkBuild strong relationships with children, families and colleaguesContribute to observations, planning and documentationWork closely with leadership and your team to create a positive room cultureSupport children's learning through indoor and outdoor experiencesHelp establish Little School as a centre known for warmth, quality and genuine careAbout youWe would love to hear from you if you have:Experience as a Diploma Qualified Room Leader, Lead Educatoror similar role in early childhoodA genuine love for working with childrenA warm, team-focused and reliable approachGood communication and relationship-building skillsCurrent Blue CardCurrent First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain/updateWhy join Little School?
