You'll create engaging learning experiences, build strong relationships with children and families, and provide the care and support they need to thrive.About The RoleThis will include:Collaborating and supporting the children based on their interestCreating a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment.Supporting children's physical, emotional, and developmental needsAssist in the observation and evaluation of the children's developmental needsSupporting routines that promote flexibility, trust, security, smooth transitions and wellbeing of the children at all times.Building robust respectful relationships with children and familiesAbout YouYou will have experience and skills in the following:A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with full working rightsRelevant work experience in a similar role (6 -12months essential)Understanding of Child Protection legislation and holds an approved Current Child Protection Training qualificationDemonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning FrameworkDemonstrated understanding of the National Quality StandardsWorking with Children Check and current First Aid qualificationWhat is on offerAbove award pay and conditions (plus WRP)Discounted childcare fees & priority placement for your childrenRostered day off per month (full-time staff)Generous leave entitlements, including 12 days personal / carer's leaveProfessional training and development to support you to continue to learn and growEmployee Assistance ProgramOther benefits can be seen here:Why work for SDN?

We are a 60-place centre in Sydney's vibrant inner east community, close to light rail, busses and Central Station.
