BB Building Services is growing, and we're looking for someone exceptional to take ownership of our yard, equipment, vehicles and project logistics.This isn't a job where you'll stand around waiting to be told what to do.
You'll become an important part of keeping multiple construction crews and divisions moving every day.WHAT YOU'LL OWNPreparing and organising materials for multiple projectsLoading crews up so they're ready to hit siteReceiving, checking and putting away deliveriesDelivering materials and equipment to projectsKeeping our yard exceptionally organisedMaintaining trailers, tools, machinery and equipmentBasic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenanceKeeping vehicles and equipment serviced, clean and readyManaging stock, storage areas and consumablesIdentifying problems before they become someone else's problemHelping our construction crews when requiredWHO WE WANTWe're looking for someone who is mechanically minded,



highly organised and takes genuine pride in their work.You'll be someone who:Can work independently without needing constant directionSees something that needs doing and gets onto itCan manage several priorities at onceCommunicates well with different crewsIs reliable and turns up ready to workWants responsibility rather than avoiding itIs practical and confident around tools, vehicles and equipmentPrevious experience in construction, agriculture, machinery, mechanical workshops, transport or similar would be highly regarded.A truck licence is a big advantage, but isn't essential for the right person.HOURSHours are variable depending on operational requirements, generally commencing at 6:30am.
Typically 6:30am-4:30/5:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break.PAYSalary/package will be negotiated based on experience and capability, particularly mechanical experience.Someone with strong mechanical skills who can confidently maintain, diagnose and repair our vehicles, trailers and equipment will be valued accordingly.If you bring more capability to the role, we're prepared to pay more.WHY BB BUILDING SERVICES?
