This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, testing, wiring and working with industrial electrical equipment.About the Role: You will be responsible for the electrical testing, wiring, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial fans, motors and associated equipment.Key responsibilities include:Test, wire and maintain industrial fans, motors and associated electrical componentsRead and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specificationsTest motors and electrical components for functionality, safety and complianceTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and identify root causesCarry out routine inspections and preventative maintenanceRepair or replace faulty electrical componentsComplete FATs, performance testing,



inspections and service documentationMaintain accurate maintenance and service recordsWork alongside other trades and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely and efficientlyProvide technical support and guidance to other team members and apprenticesRespond to service and operational issues as requiredEnsure all work is completed in line with relevant safety standards, regulations and proceduresCommunicate professionally with customers, supervisors and team membersWhat We're Looking For:Qualified Electrical Technician, Electrician or relevant electrical trade qualificationCommercial or industrial electrical experience highly regardedPrevious experience working with motors, machinery or industrial equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manualsStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsConfident using electrical testing equipment including multimetersExperience with vibration sensors or trim balancing equipment is advantageousStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityAbility to work autonomously and manage tasks through to completionGood communication and customer service skillsPhysically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting and climbing as requiredCurrent driver's licenceAbout us:Jobwire Australia is a highly regarded mid tier provider of recruitment and labour hire services.
