1d ago , from Mount Alexander Shire CouncilPart time, 60 hours per fortnightOngoingBand 2, $63,921pa (pro-rata) + SuperClosing date: 12pm on Monday 31 August ****Mount Alexander Shire is known for its local food and wine, for a vibrant arts community and breathtaking natural surrounds.Perfectly located in Central Victoria, around 30 minutes from Bendigo by car or rail, and with Melbourne only 90 minutes away, you'll enjoy a balanced lifestyle with great services, schools and homes in townships like Castlemaine and Maldon.The roleCivic Facilities Cleaners ensure Council managed venues, offices and public conveniences are cleaned in an efficient and effective manner to ensure the provision of clean and hygienic facilities for all users.Key responsibilities include:Cleaning of all surfaces, including toilets, urinals, basins, floors, door handles, mirrors and tilesEmptying of litter bins and replenishing of toiletriesMinor maintenance and safety checks, and subsequent reporting of damage or vandalismMonitor and maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials and chemicalsTo be successful in this role you will have:Experience in a cleaning role, with an eye for detailAbility to safely operate cleaning equipment and productsAwareness of OH&S; requirements relevant to the positionCurrent Drivers licenceApplicants will need to be physically able to undertake the duties of this role.
