We believe in building long-term partnerships with our customers and continually finding better ways to solve their reliability challenges.About the roleWe are seeking to appoint an Area Sales Manager, based in Townsville to join our dynamic Queensland sales team.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and grow customer relationships across your territoryWork closely with customers to improve equipment reliability and reduce operating costsGenerate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and cold calling activitiesPrepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clientsEnsure compliance with company policies,
procedures and relevant industry regulationsContribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer service deliveryTravel throughout your sales territory to carry out sales responsibilitiesWhat we're looking forA minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial sales role or technical sales role.OR a minimum of 3 years' experience (in a non-sales role) with mechanical seals, rotating equipment or mining.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilityExperience in mechanical seals, pumps, rotating equipment or mining would be highly regarded, but not essentialA relationship-focused approach with the ability to develop long-term customer partnershipsValid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Townsville regionSelf-motivated and comfortable managing your own territoryPermanent residents and Australian citizens only, we are not looking to sponsor.What we offerVehicle/Car allowanceAttractive commission structure, you get rewarded for your effortsReliable product availability, ensuring you have the inventory and support needed to effectively service customers.Comprehensive training will be providedGenuine opportunity to build and manage your own territoryWork with a growing Australian mechanical sealing businessSupportive technical and engineering team
