Subject areas include:AccountingFinanceEconomicsStatisticsMarketingManagementBusiness & Social ImpactAbout the RoleThis position is responsible for:TeachingPreparing, delivering, and facilitating tutorials and workshops as outlined in the curriculum for the subject each week in subject area of expertise, as agreed with the Program ManagerGrading assignments, tests, examinations, and other assessment items as requiredProviding detailed, timely, and meaningful feedback to studentsPerforming all other teaching-related duties such as preparation for scheduled hours of teaching, administration of student records and informal consultations with studentsGeneral DutiesProviding early learning support and referrals as needed to UTS College Study Success AdvisorsIn consultation with the Academic Coordinator and Program Manager,



participating in a range of professional development activitiesAttending staff and subject meetings as requiredCompleting special assignments under the direction of the Program Manager as requiredEstablishing ongoing channels of communication with Academic Coordinators, Study Success Advisors, the Program Manager and academic colleagues to ensure consistent quality of teachingParticipating in moderation activitiesFor more information on the subjects or a copy of the position description please contact ****** YouTo succeed in this role you must have:5 years+ experience in industry practice or post graduate qualifications in a related fieldRelevant demonstrated experience of teaching in a higher education environmentDemonstrated commitment to innovative learning and teaching practices, including a willingness to engage with contemporary approaches to content delivery including blended learning approachesExcellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple demands to meet deadlines whilst ensuring accuracyA NSW Working With Children's CheckWhat UTS College has to Offer!
