We operate 1:1 and group support services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers and Complex Care Support Workers across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) homes in Sydney's Inner West and Sutherland.You will support adults and children with autism, intellectual disability, high-intensity support needs, behaviours of concern, mobility needs, and complex care requirements - both in the home and in the community.About the RoleDo you want to play an active role in supporting people with disabilities to live their best lives?

We operate 1:1 and group support services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers and Complex Care Support Workers across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) homes in Sydney's Inner West and Sutherland.You will support adults and children with autism, intellectual disability, high-intensity support needs, behaviours of concern, mobility needs, and complex care requirements - both in the home and in the community.Your ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care including showering, toileting, cooking,



and transfers in and out of wheelchairsSupport participants to access the community and participate in community events and activitiesImplement and follow Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practice guidelinesAdminister medications in line with medication management plansComplete accurate shift reports, incident reports, progress notes, and data collectionBuild positive rapport with participants to maintain and increase social skills and reduce isolationSupport participants to achieve their individual goals and build independenceContribute to the health, safety, and hygiene of the physical environmentWork collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary care teamShifts AvailableEarly morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, sleepover (both awake and sleepover shifts).
Candidates must have versatile availability across a 24/7 rotating roster.
Sleepover shifts are mandatory.Essential RequirementsMinimum two (2) years' experience as a Disability Support Worker, with complex care experience preferredExperience managing behaviours of concernFull unrestricted Australian Driver LicenceFlexible availability including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidaysUnlimited Australian working rights (no work restrictions)Strong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamKnowledge of restrictive practices and the Child Protected StandardsPreferredExperience working in SIL and/or SSRC accommodationExperience supporting people with mobility issues (wheelchair use, transfers)Current NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent Working With Children CheckCurrent First Aid & CPRMedication competency (can be completed by our registered nurse at induction)Located within or close to Sydney's Inner West for emergency call-in availabilityWhat We OfferOngoing casual, part-time, and full-time shiftsSupportive and experienced leadership teamOngoing training and career development opportunitiesThe chance to make a real difference every dayFree EAP through Rough Patch
