This role also plays a key part in driving business growth and strengthening client relationships across the renewables sector.How You'll Make an ImpactLead and inspire a team of engineers developing and delivering BESS projects and electrical systems for other renewable energy projects across AustraliaDrive the successful delivery of Owner's Engineer (OE), Technical Due Diligence (TDD), electrical design and advisory servicesIdentify, pursue and secure new opportunities, strengthening WSP's position in the energy transition marketOversee bid preparation and submissions, ensuring clear value propositions and high win ratesAct as Project Director on major projects or portfoliosManage team resourcing,



performance and developmentDeliver against financial targets and contribute to broader business strategyAbout YouA recognised Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringChartered status with Engineers Australia is a plus10+ years' experience in the power industry with BESS and HV experience, ideally operating at an Associate level or above within an engineering consulting environmentProven experience in leading engineering teams in renewables and BESSFamiliarity with OE, TDD and design engagementsStrong commercial acumen and experience supporting or leading business development activitiesAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersA collaborative leader who builds solid relationships and supports team growthHow You'll WorkFlexibility is at the heart of how we operate.
