The Edinburgh Castle Hotel is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who loves classic pub culture, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to keep a large crew moving in perfect sync.The "Eddi Castle" is a buzzing local centerpiece.
Whether it's managing a packed weekend dining crowd in the bistro, running a high-tempo sports bar during major live games, or overseeing our top-tier gaming room operations, this venue requires a leader who loves being right at the heart of the action.
We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can maintain elite standards and ensure our tight-knit community of regulars receives gold-class hospitality on every shift.A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crewSupport the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibeLearn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legendsHandle hiccups before they turn into headachesBring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shiftInherent requirements:This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).
