This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build strong HR foundations in a supportive team.Here you will help bring the NEXTDC values to life and contribute to a positive work environment across the business.Prepare and process employee lifecycle paperwork, including onboarding, training and compliance records, employment changes and offboardingAct as the first point of contact for everyday employee enquiries, answering straightforward questions and escalating anything more complex to the P&C; teamEnter and maintain data in our P&C; systems,
ensuring records are accurate and up to dateProvide administrative support to the Business Partners for our annual P&C; activities, for example remuneration reviews and NEXTPOLL engagement surveysAssist with the coordination of P&C; initiatives such as our Recognition and Health and Wellbeing programsPrepare routine reports for the P&C; team and internal stakeholdersKeep the P&C; intranet pages current, including uploading and formatting policies, procedures and documentationTo start as soon as possible, this is an initial 12-month parental leave cover.This is an entry level role, so you do not need previous HR experience.
You will have some administration or office experience, whether from a previous role, a part time job or an internship, and a genuine interest in building a career in HR.
Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business or a related field are well regarded but not essential.Experience using Workday is a bonus, though we are more interested in your confidence picking up new systems and technology quickly.Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise will help keep the P&C; team running smoothly.
