The roleAs a Team Leader - SIL, you will guide and support a small team of Active Support Workers to deliver consistent, high-quality care within a home workplace.
You will ensure daily operations run smoothly while upholding person-centred Active Support principles.
Coordinating with Client Care Managers and external stakeholders, your role is pivotal in maintaining continuity of care, safety, and a positive team culture.
You will mentor and motivate your team to perform confidently and compliantly,



modelling organisational values and best practice in disability support.RequirementsCertificate III in Disability or related field (Certificate IV or Leadership qualifications preferred)Must agree to set rotating roster involving afternoons/ Saturday workMinimum 1-2 years' team leadership experience in disability or community sectorAt least 2 years' direct support experience with clients presenting complex needs or behavioursStrong knowledge of Active Support and person-centred approachesAbility to lead, coach, and motivate a team effectivelyExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAvailability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including sleepover shiftsCurrent First Aid, CPR, NSW Driver's License, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
