About the role
The Design, Technology & Engineering teacher plays a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning within the Middle and Senior School.
Through thoughtful planning, inclusive practice, and positive relationships, the teacher supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
This position requires a commitment to excellence in education, professional engagement, and the Christian values of Woodcroft College.

What you'll be doing
Inspire and engage students
through innovative, hands-on learning across Design, Technologies and Engineering.
Plan and deliver
high-quality, differentiated learning experiences
for Middle and Senior School students, from Years 7–12.
Bring learning to life through
real-world applications, creativity,
inquiry and problem-solving
.
Teach across areas including
Robotics, Manufacturing (wood) and Computer Design
, using contemporary technologies to enhance student learning.
Foster a classroom environment where students are encouraged to
think critically, take ownership of their learning and turn ideas into reality
.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum, assessment and learning experiences.
Support the diverse needs of students, creating an
inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive
.
Contribute to the broader life of the College through
co-curricular opportunities, professional learning and community activities
.
What we're looking for
A
passionate and innovative teacher
who is excited by the opportunity to inspire students through Design, Technology and Engineering.
Experience teaching Design, Technologies and/or Engineering subjects across
Years 7–12
.
Robust knowledge of contemporary curriculum and
evidence-informed teaching practices
.
A creative, collaborative approach and the ability to design learning that is
practical, purposeful and engaging
.
Experience supporting diverse learners and adapting teaching to meet individual student needs.
A willingness to embrace opportunities such as
VEX Robotics, F1 in Schools and other technology-focused programs
— experience is advantageous, but enthusiasm to get involved is equally valued.
A positive, relationship-focused approach and the ability to
connect with and inspire students, families and colleagues
.
A commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Woodcroft College.
Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
