A Youth Mentor/Employment Consultant's Day involves:
Supporting and understanding a caseload of youth's barriersEngage with young people in the local community to attract eligible participants to the serviceAttend local secondary schools to provide information to staff and students about Transition to WorkCreating and sourcing education and employment opportunities for clientsSupporting clients to identify their skills and abilitiesConduct, create, tailor, and implement an individual service planBuilding sustainable and long-lasting relationships with local employers, registered training organisations and community organisationsMaintain accurate records for clientsEnsuring our local youth hub provides a safe and welcoming environment for young peopleParticipate in local community, employment and networking events and forums to promote the transition to Work program
About You:
Passionate about working with our clients and local community networksExcellent communication skills and positive attitudeExperience working in a performance driven environmentQualification in Social or Youth Work (Desirable)Previous experience in Employment Services, particularly Transition to WorkLife-changing opportunities for individuals and committed workers for employers.We are an industry leader in employment, training, allied health, and post-employment services.Our highly dedicated staff are genuinely committed to empowering, supporting and assisting people to achieve their employment goals.

Have full working rights in AustraliaHave a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicleComplete an Australia History Criminal CheckMust have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
