Traction Ag is seeking Service Technician/s to join our growing team in Horsham, Victoria.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing agricultural equipment for our valued customers.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and maintenance services, ensuring our clients' equipment operates at peak performance.
This role is essential to our mission of providing reliable agricultural solutions and building long-term relationships with our customer base.Key responsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and servicing on agricultural machinery and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely and professional mannerConduct preventative maintenance checks and provide customers with recommendations for equipment careComplete service reports and maintain accurate records of all work undertakenCommunicate effectively with customers to understand their equipment issues and explain solutions clearlyIdentify parts that require replacement or repair and source appropriate componentsAssist in training and supporting junior technicians when requiredMaintain a clean and safe working setting in compliance with health and safety standardsContribute to achieving service targets and customer satisfaction goalsWhat we're looking forA recognised apprenticeship or qualification in agricultural machinery, diesel technician, or a related trade disciplineProven experience as a service or maintenance technician, preferably within the agricultural or heavy equipment sectorStrong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems,



and electrical componentsProficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools relevant to agricultural machineryExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work methodically through complex issuesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers and colleaguesA commitment to safety and adherence to workplace health and safety regulationsReliability, punctuality and a professional approach to workA valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as requiredPhysical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environmentsWhat we offerTraction Ag is committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our team members.
