Guided by a mission to provide a positive building experience, foster proficiency through culture-driven strategies, and benefit the community, they cater to a diverse range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to tourist park developers.About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to provide accounts and administrative support across the business, understanding finance principles and the ability to work with other team members to achieve accurate results.Some of your responsibilities will include:Taking ownership of job costings and financial reporting, liaising with accountantsManaging supplier and subcontractor invoicing and payments, including purchase order matching and approvalsOverseeing end-of-month reconciliations and stocktake processesMaintaining accurate subcontractor compliance records, including public liability and WorkCoverManaging project information and tool/asset records to keep the business running smoothlyCompleting weekly payroll entry information for the external accountantsYou will also assist with Building Approvals,
and full training for these processes will be provided.Setting up new clients and projects, and invoicing starter packs and deposits in ConstructorCoordinating building approvals with the Building Certifier, including QLeave and QBCC requirementsOrganising soil tests, effluent requirements, and energy efficiency documentationAssisting with plumbing applications, council permits, and decision notice certificatesKeeping clients informed and booking footing and final inspections with the Onsite ManagerAttending Production Team Meetings and assisting with approval-related actionsAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in advanced bookkeepingStrong attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management skillsConfident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, councils, and certifiersAbility to juggle multiple deadlines with a proactive, collaborative approachConfidence with accounting and payroll systems and Microsoft ExcelBuilding and construction approvals experience desirable but not essential; training providedWhat's in it for You?
