12th August, ****Lismore4-Week Temporary AssignmentImmediate Start12th August, ****Lismore4-Week Temporary AssignmentImmediate StartOur client, a respected local not-for-profit organisation, is seeking an experienced Program Worker to join their Supported Temporary Accommodation team in Lismore for a 4-week temporary assignment.This role will provide essential support while a team member is on leave from 27th August, with the successful candidate ideally commencing as soon as possible to allow time for training and handover.About the RoleWorking from the Supported Temporary Accommodation hub, you will be a key point of contact for clients accessing the service.
The role combines reception and administration responsibilities with client support and higher-level program duties.Your responsibilities will include:Providing a welcoming and professional concierge presence at receptionManaging client access,



check-ins and general enquiriesCompleting day-to-day administration and maintaining accurate recordsResponding appropriately to clients presenting with complex needsDrawing on your case management experience to provide additional support to the program teamLiaising with internal team members and relevant community servicesAbout YouWe are looking for someone who can step into the role confidently and make an immediate contribution.
You will ideally have:Previous experience working within community services, homelessness, housing, mental health, disability or a related human services environmentDemonstrated case management experience, particularly supporting people with complex presentationsStrong communication skills and the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgroundsThe ability to remain calm, professional and solutions-focused in a busy client-facing environmentStrong administration, organisation and record-keeping skillsThe confidence to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a busy program teamRelevant qualifications and experience appropriate to a SCHADS Level 4 positionLocation: LismoreClassification: SCHADS Level 4Duration: Approximately 4 weeks, with training/handover prior to 27 AugustStart: ASAP – immediate availability is essentialIf you are an experienced community services professional who can hit the ground running, we would love to hear from you.
