This hands-on Accountant role suits someone who enjoys ownership, autonomy and broad involvement across the finance function. Working closely with the Financial Controller and finance team, you will drive accurate month-end processes, maintain strong financial controls and support timely reporting across the business.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYA key focus will be month-end accounting, including journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger review, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations and reporting packs. You will be trusted to manage your own workflow, identify issues early and deliver month-end deadlines with accuracy and confidence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and general ledger review. Prepare accurate month-end, year-end and management reporting within required deadlines. Maintain bank, credit card, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations. Manage fixed asset accounting,



including capitalisation, depreciation, disposals and register maintenance. Prepare reporting packs, variance commentary and audit support documentation. Coordinate weekly supplier payment runs and support BAS, IAS, PAYG and statutory requirements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting as required. Improve finance systems, reporting, internal controls and month-end procedures.

YOU WILL BRINGDegree in Accounting or Finance and/or progress toward CA/CPA.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role.Strong month-end accounting experience across journals, reconciliations, reporting and general ledger maintenance.Intermediate Excel skills and experience using Xero.High attention to detail, robust organisation and confidence working autonomously.#3012341
