Join Grammar as a Head Coach - Girls' Rugby and Touch Football and play a key role in the development and delivery of high-quality coaching programs for girls in both rugby and touch football.
About the role
This position is a part-time (0.6FTE) parental leave contract for Semester 1, 2027.
This position can be filled as a teaching or non-teaching role. If teaching, there may be an additional class allocation and teaching load.

Key responsibilities
Lead coaching of U18 Girls' Rugby 7s and Senior Girls Touch Football teams
Facilitate and manage weekly academy sessions for girls' rugby and touch football
Develop and implement training plans aligned with Grammar Rugby Academy principles
Mentor and motivate players across both codes, fostering individual and team growth
Assist with recruitment of coaches/assistant coaches and manage coaches for girls' rugby and touch football programs
Support video analysis and feedback sessions for player development
Design and oversee the annual coaching blueprint for girls' rugby and touch football
Lead the selection process for senior girls' rugby and touch football squads
Develop Individual Performance Plans (IPP) for selected players
Collaborate with Strength & Conditioning staff to integrate strength, conditioning, speed and agility programs
About you
Understanding and commitment to the Christian values and ethos of the School and PMSA
Strong demonstrated experience coaching high level Rugby with success in player and coach development
Minimum of Level II Rugby Australia Coaching Accreditation
Understanding of Sunshine Coast regional sport or experience in a similar school association
Experience and demonstrated understanding of planning and delivering a comprehensive Rugby and Touch Football program
Highly developed professional communication skills, solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated sense of self-motivation, initiative and proactiveness
Ability to work flexible hours when required, including weekend work and the ability to travel as required
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or QCT Registration
Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications
