So, what does a typical day look like?

As a full-time, Senior Catering Attendant, you’re an integral member of our team, working across a range of areas to prepare all elements required to deliver a memorable dining experience for passengers onboard our airline customers flights. To do this, you perform a variety of roles across our production kitchen, including light food prep, packing and assembling meals. Responsibilities include:

- Help chefs prepare meals in bulk.
- Measure ingredients and prepare fruit, vegetables, and proteins.
- Handle food, plate meals, and set meal trays to presentation standards.
- Stock airline carts with catering items, snacks, and beverages.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and sanitised at all times.
- Work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.





About You

- Full ongoing working rights in Australia.
- Sound numerical skills.
- Solid knife skills (safe, efficient and repetitive use of various knives for food prep)
- Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as move and lift items.
- Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
- Neat and tidy presentation.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential)
- Comfortable to wear PPE gear along with a standardised uniform
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
- Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
