Our client are currently seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to provide high-quality clinical care to patients, demonstrating leadership within a multidisciplinary team and adhering to professional standards. The role also involves teaching and mentoring medical staff and students, participating in clinical audit, quality and risk management activities, and contributing to research and ongoing professional development.

- A busy regional referral hospital with around 100 beds, serving the Northern Tablelands and surrounding communities with a broad range of acute and specialist services including emergency, general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, paediatrics and allied health.
- Handles approximately 17,000 emergency department presentations per year, offering clinicians diverse, hands‑on experience across a variety of case types.

The Requirements
One or more of the following:

- Hold or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- At least 12 months recent experience at a Consultant Anaesthetist level
- Hold or soon to hold Fellowship with ANZCA (FANZCA)
- All IMG's who are ready to submit their specialist assessment to ANZCA OR have already been assessed by ANZCA and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
