Our Client: A top tier EPCM on resources Contract Type: Casual Duration: 12 months (subject to extension) Location: Perth-based with little site travel About the role Lead Electrical Engineer to support and lead the delivery of multiple sustaining capital projects. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership in electrical engineering design, managing project deliverables, and mentoring team members, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The projects are a blend of mining and utilities projects. Key responsibilities Lead the electrical design for projects across all phases, from concept through detailed design and construction support Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements Coordinate closely with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and structural engineers Act as the primary electrical point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning Conduct site visits, inspections, and commissioning support where required Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers Participate in proposal preparation, project planning, and business development activities Maintain a robust focus on quality assurance, risk management, and HSE compliance About you Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience,



preferably in an engineering consultancy setting Demonstrated experience leading electrical design on medium to large-scale projects Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) preferred Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and building services systems Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar Familiarity with international and local electrical codes and standards Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design environment About Airswift Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
