Join the Team
As the Work Health and Safety Business Partner for SDPR, you will contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of WHS and wellbeing policies, systems and programs that foster a proactive safety culture across eHealth NSW. You will work closely with leaders, managers, workers and stakeholders to provide expert advice, support risk management initiatives and embed WHS and wellbeing as core business values.
In this role, you will:
- Strengthen WHS and wellbeing frameworks, systems and strategies to support legislative compliance, reduce risk and align with organisational goals.
- Advance proactive safety practices by designing,
implementing and evaluating WHS policies, procedures and programs that improve workplace safety and wellbeing.
- Advise leaders, managers and workers on WHS responsibilities, risk management, injury prevention and workers compensation to support protected and compliant workplaces.
- Build organisational capability through WHS training, committee engagement, safety forums and collaborative initiatives that improve awareness and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing WHS data and incident trends, coordinating serious incident responses and supporting effective rehabilitation and return to work outcomes.

About You
We are looking for someone who brings strong WHS and wellbeing knowledge, a collaborative approach and the ability to influence and advise stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.
- Understands WHS legislative and regulatory requirements and has demonstrate experience applying contemporary WHS and wellbeing principles in practice
- Has demonstrated experience in end-to-end case management
- Builds productive relationships with diverse stakeholders and can influence leaders to prioritise safety practices and systems
- Communicates clearly and confidently, including the ability to explain complex information and provide practical advice.
- Uses data and insights to identify trends, emerging risks and areas for continuous improvement
- Plans and prioritises effectively in a busy environment with competing priorities while maintaining momentum on key initiatives.
