About the Role
We're looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy food manufacturing facility in Wacol. These afternoon shift roles are based within the warehouse and offer a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse duties in a quick-paced environment.
There are two opportunities available, each suited to candidates with strong counterbalance forklift experience and a commitment to workplace safety.
Afternoon shifts - $38.73
Warehouse (Front Dock)
- 12:00pm – 8:00pm
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Counterbalance forklift operation (Essential)
- Regular manual handling up to 25kg as required (Must be okay with regular heavy lifting)
About You & Responsibilities
- Previous experience operating counterbalance forklift is essential
- Current LF Forklift Licence required
- Load and unload trucks and move stock throughout the warehouse
- Supply packaging materials to production areas
- Complete general warehouse duties and stock movements
- Physically fit to perform manual handling of up to 25kg when required
- Follow all workplace safety, hygiene and quality procedures
- Experience within food manufacturing enviroment (highly regarded)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug, alcohol and fitness testing
