The SESLHD Mental Health Service is a specialised clinical service, providing care to a local population of over 930,000 residents in the Sydney metropolitan area. The Role
Are you an experienced mental health Registered Nurse and enjoy working with the elderly? This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a great team of nurses and allied health professionals and a supportive and innovative community team to provide quality care to consumers aged 65 years or older with mental illness.
Where you'll be working
You will be based at Older Persons Community Mental Health, ESMHS, working Monday to Friday 0830-1700. You will be located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick.

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the following criteria in your application:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment, treatment and management of Older People with a mental illness in a community setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to a consumer focused, recovery-oriented approach and consumer collaboration in care planning.
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development and the participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated skills in time management.
- Computer literacy, along with an understanding of the EMR recording system.
- Current Driver's License.
