Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our clinical team at Respect Ingham Lodge

Respect Ingham Lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a Full or Part time or casual basis. The roster will be determined in consultation with our new Staff member.
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Reporting directly to the Care Manager and General Manager, the Registered Nurse plays an integral role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of residents.
Key Duties
- Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation that reflects care delivery.
- Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans, and assist with admission assessments.
- Provide direct clinical care to residents as required, including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, pain management, massage therapy, and participating in GP rounds.
- Administer medications and ensure correct ordering, storage,
and documentation procedures are followed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
- Understanding of government standards and legislative requirements for the delivery of aged care.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- An understanding of the aged care accreditation process.
