STORE MANAGER — POP MART

High‑Traffic Travel Retail | Sydney Domestic Airport (T2)

Salary: circa $75,000+ (negotiable commensurate with experience) + Super + Bonus + Travel Allowance

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Unlike traditional airport retail, this role offers:

• 38–40 hours per week

• Two consecutive days off

• No split shifts

• Rotating early / day / late weeks (never mixed in the same week)

• Predictable, pre‑planned roster cycles

• Weekly travel allowance to cover Airport Station Access Fee

• A fully resourced team including Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, Senior Sales Associates and Sales Associates

You’ll be supported by ANZ Retail Operations, HR and Loss Prevention, so you’re not dealing with constant understaffing, out‑of‑hours calls, or last‑minute roster issues.

Early shifts mean afternoons free.

Late shifts don’t cost you your mornings.

A stable rhythm — not the typical airport grind.

WHAT YOU’LL LEAD

People & Culture

- Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing team

Customer Experience

- Deliver memorable experiences for travellers from around the world

- Maintain POP MART’s visual merchandising and brand standards

Operations & Commercial Performance

- Own daily store operations with consistency and confidence

- Deliver sales targets and KPIs

- Manage rostering, timesheets, stock flow and high‑volume deliveries

- Maintain inventory accuracy and work closely with Loss Prevention

- Recruit and onboard exceptional team members

- Lead your team through an exciting, high‑impact store opening

ABOUT YOU

You are:

- An experienced Store Manager, or a strong Assistant Store Manager ready to step into your first Store Manager role with support

- Experienced in high‑volume retail, ideally across: fashion, lifestyle, gifting, entertainment, travel or airport retail

- Confident across: visual merchandising and store standards, stock flow and inventory accuracy, rostering and labour planning, customer service leadership.

- Positive, energetic and adaptable. Comfortable leading diverse teams.

- Happy working a structured early / late rotating roster

- Able to obtain an ASIC (we’ll support you through the process)

- Holder of permanent Australian working rights
