About the opportunity?

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our Multi Combination Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted linehaul business based at Townsville Mail Centre West End, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!?

You'll be driving B Doubles to Cairns and Mackay ex Townsville (no overnight stays). Working on a rotating roster (Sun-Sat), this role includes 5 weeks annual leave per year, base salary plus 15% or 30% shift penalties, overtime rates and a truck tonnage (25.95 per shift) and meal allowances.

You’ll be?

Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery.?

Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.

Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.??

Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.?

About you?

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality, who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.?

You’ll also need to?

Hold a relevant MC vehicle licence with experience. Forklift licence valued but not essential.





Be safety-focused and understand the importance of the chain of responsibility.?

Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.?

Be fit enough to meet our 16kg lifting capacity.

Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.?
