Monadelphous is seeking experienced Piping Supervisors to join our Engineering Construction Division, working on one of our major Oil & Gas projects on a FIFO 2:1 roster.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a major construction project, with a competitive salary package and site allowances. We are considering candidates from across Australia, with point-of-hire flights provided from any Australian capital city.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supervise and coordinate piping crews to safely deliver construction activities in line with project schedules and quality requirements.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to tradespeople, contractors and trade assistants.
- Plan and coordinate daily work activities, labour allocation, equipment and materials to maximise productivity.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed in accordance with project specifications and construction standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with site HSE requirements and company procedures.
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Engineers and other work fronts to ensure effective execution of construction activities.
- Participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and field leadership activities.
- Identify and mitigate construction risks, escalating issues as required.
- Ensure accurate reporting of workforce productivity, progress and site activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Piping Supervisor role within the Oil & Gas or LNG sectors.
- Demonstrated experience supervising piping construction works on major construction projects.
- LNG construction project experience in Australia will be highly regarded.
- Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical/Piping or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of Australian HSE legislation, industry standards and safe work practices.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate large site-based workforces.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current Australian working rights.
