Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function for a major power generation facility. Operating on a 2:1 FIFO roster, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient construction of the power station through effective engineering strategies.

Reporting as a key member of the site leadership team, you will oversee engineering performance, operational support and compliance activities while leading a team of engineering professionals focused on delivering operational excellence.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Lead and manage the site Engineering team, providing direction across reliability, maintenance and asset management activities.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that improve plant availability, reliability and operational performance.
- Support operations and maintenance teams in achieving performance, production and availability targets.
- Oversee asset management programs, maintenance optimisation and lifecycle planning.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory obligations and company procedures.
- Lead engineering risk management processes to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
- Monitor engineering performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage engineering budgets, workforce planning and resource allocation.
- Provide technical leadership for plant troubleshooting, operational challenges and major equipment issues.
- Build robust relationships with operations,



maintenance, client representatives and key stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

- Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.
- Extensive leadership experience within power generation, energy, utilities, oil & gas or heavy industrial operations.
- Strong background in asset management, plant reliability and maintenance strategy development.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams in complex operational environments.
- Sound understanding of engineering risk management and operational governance.
- Knowledge of Australian engineering standards, safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing operational budgets and performance outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
