.NET Developer

Help design, develop and support Westfund’s digital services as part of an Agile delivery team. Join us in a full-time .NET Developer role focused on ASP.NET Core APIs, integrations, backend services and cloud-based solutions within the Microsoft technology stack.

Responsibilities include:

- Application Development: Design, build, test and support secure, reliable .NET applications, with a focus on C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core and RESTful APIs.
- Integration and Cloud Solutions: Develop integration services, cloud-based solutions and event-driven or messaging-based architectures using Microsoft Azure.
- DevOps and Delivery: Contribute to up-to-date software delivery practices using source control, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Azure Pipelines.
- Quality and Support: Apply secure development practices, Clean Architecture and SOLID principles, while using Application Insights and Log Analytics to monitor, troubleshoot and improve services.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital services, manage competing priorities and support continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

- We’re looking for an experienced developer who can demonstrate:
- At least three years of professional experience in .NET application development, with strong capability in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, RESTful APIs and integration services.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD and Azure Pipelines using YAML.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, relational database design, event-driven architectures, monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and secure software development practices.
- A practical understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles,



source control and modern software delivery practices.
- Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and web technologies, with familiarity using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, manage competing priorities and produce accurate, high-quality work.
- A commitment to continuous learning and keeping up to date with emerging technologies and development practices.
