Little + Large is a creative events and experiences agency bringing memorable events to life through great design, planning and execution.

We’re looking for a Junior to Mid-Weight Event Installer to join our team and help turn our creative concepts into reality.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the move, working as part of a team and seeing the results of their work come together at some incredible events.

The Role

As an Event Installer, you’ll work closely with our production and events teams to prepare, deliver, install and pack down event structures, styling elements, signage and custom pieces across a wide variety of events.

Your standard working week will be Monday to Friday, however events don't always happen within standard business hours. You'll need to be flexible and available for after-hours and weekend work when required.

Additional hours and overtime are paid, so the extra hours that come with event installs are recognised and compensated.

Some of our projects also take us interstate, so you'll need to be comfortable and flexible with interstate travel when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Preparing and loading event structures, styling pieces and equipment

- Delivering event items to venues and event sites

- Installing and setting up events according to plans and instructions

- Assisting with event infrastructure, styling, and signage

- Using basic hand and power tools during installations

- Working alongside our production and operations event teams onsite

- Safely loading and unloading vehicles

- Packing down events and returning equipment to our warehouse

- Taking care of our event structures, equipment, vehicles and event assets

- Assisting with warehouse preparation and organisation between events

- Following protected work practices both onsite and in the warehouse





- Travelling interstate for events and installations when required

About You

You don't need years of event experience — we're looking for someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, great communication skills and a willingness to learn.

You’ll ideally be:

- Practical, hands-on and comfortable with physical work

- Reliable, punctual and someone your team can count on

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Great communincation skills

- Able to follow plans, instructions and direction

- A strong team player with a positive attitude

- Flexible with working hours when events require it

- Available for occasional weekend and after-hours work

- Flexible and comfortable with interstate travel

- Comfortable working on your feet and undertaking manual handling

- Safety-conscious and respectful when working at venues and event sites

Experience using power tools would be highly regarded. Previous experience in events, installations, construction, staging, exhibitions, removals, warehousing or similar hands-on environments would also be a bonus. A truck licence and/or forklift licence will be highly regarded, but are not essential — we’re happy to consider the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
