Caravan & Motorhome Technician / Tradesperson

Avan Ballarat is preparing to open its new dealership in Warrenheip, bringing one of Australia's most recognised caravan and motorhome brands to the Ballarat region.

Due to the opening of our new dealership, we are seeking two motivated and reliable Technicians / Tradespeople to join our workshop team.

Working on a wide variety of caravans, campervans and motorhomes, you will be involved in servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis, warranty work, accessory installations and pre-delivery preparation.

As a foundation team member, you will have the opportunity to help establish our workshop, systems and processes from day one while working alongside an experienced management team.

Avan Ballarat is a new dealership representing Australia's iconic Avan range of caravans, campervans and motorhomes.

Located in Warrenheip, we will provide sales, service, warranty and parts support to customers throughout Ballarat, Western Victoria and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to caravans and motorhomes

• Diagnose and rectify faults

• Complete warranty repairs

• Install accessories and upgrades

• Perform pre-delivery inspections

• Maintain accurate repair records

• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Contribute positively to a team-focused workshop environment

Skills & Experience





• Relevant trade qualifications or demonstrated mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded

• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Current driver's licence

• Previous caravan industry experience is highly regarded but not essential

Applicants with experience in the automotive, truck, agricultural, earthmoving, marine, electrical, plumbing, cabinetmaking or related industries are encouraged to apply.
