About the Role

Auriga hold a long term contact at Cape Preston and we are seeking a qualified Marine Pilot to join our dynamic Cape Preston team in Western Australia.

The successful applicant will undertake pilotage operations at Cape Preston port. Training will be provided in the port.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct safe and productive pilotage operations

- Ensure sufficient current passage plans are available,

- Maintain compliance with all marine safety and regulatory requirements

- Work collaboratively with port stakeholders and vessel crews

- Provide leadership and clear direction to the Bridge Management Team





- Perform duties with the required skills, care and attention in ensuring the safe passage of a ship under their pilotage

- Promote Auriga Group’s strong safety culture and operational standards

About You

- Qualified Marine Pilot or Master with relevant experience

- A valid AMSA Medical

- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism

- Excellent communication and decision-making skills

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Tug and barge experience favourable but not essential
