Located in Collinsville QLD 4804, Collinsville-Scottville Workers Club is a community club offering dining and bar facilities, along with a bottleshop, TAB and Keno facilities, a gaming room and the Coalface Experience. The Club is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and preparing food for service.
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with menu requirements.
- Monitoring the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
- Checking the quality of ingredients and food products used in meal preparation.
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
- Preparing and cooking food using appropriate cooking techniques.
- Portioning and presenting dishes to required standards.
- Monitoring food storage and ensuring ingredients are handled appropriately.
- Maintaining appropriate standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.




- Working with other kitchen staff to support food preparation and service.
- Assisting with the organisation of kitchen activities and food preparation requirements.

About You
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Chef.
- Relevant cookery qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to prepare and present dishes consistently.
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a kitchen team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
