As our services continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers to join our team and provide high-intensity and complex care to participants across the Gold Coast, including Pimpama, Coomera, and Bundall.

Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will deliver a wide range of support services, including but not limited to:

- Providing complex and high-intensity support

- Delivering personal care: showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration

- Assisting with manual handling and mobility support

- Undertaking domestic duties: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

- Supporting transportation needs and community access

- Promoting and facilitating meaningful community participation

- Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) strategies

- Managing challenging situations with professionalism and empathy

Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in providing high-intensity support

- Experience in implementing Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)





- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)

- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

- Required Training Certificates:

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module

- Relevant NDIS training modules

- Infection Control Training

- Medication Administration Training

- Manual Handling Training

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Proven experience in manual handling (hoist use), medication administration, and mental health support

- Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a vehicle suitable for work purposes (with comprehensive insurance)

- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

- Current National Police Clearance

- Legal right to work in Australia

- Ownership of a smartphone for rostering and documentation purposes via our client management app

Desirable Qualifications
The following are not essential but will be highly regarded:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability (or currently enrolled)

- Valid certificates in medication administration and manual handling
