We are seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a growing manufacturing team based in Geebung. This is an ongoing position with a well-established business that values safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Service, repair and maintain plant and manufacturing equipment
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and improvement projects
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
About you
- Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or similar mechanical trade with relevant maintenance experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with automation systems is advantageous
- High Risk Forklift Licence
- Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Restricted Electrical Licence (desirable but not essential)
